Switches, the lock drive, the control unit and wires are a part of the electric drive. The control unit is mounted under the dashboard, to the right of the block of safety locks. It is independently possible to execute simple checks of the drive and connections. More detailed check and elimination of serious malfunctions is carried out in car service.
Control of locks is exercised from the reversive electromagnets mounted in the doorway. Switches of locks have 2 provisions: Lock and Unlock. From the switch on the control unit the signal of unlocking or locking of a door arrives. The control unit changes polarity of a signal according to position of the switch, as a result conclusions of the coil of the solenoid connect either to weight or to food of +12 Century.
On a part of cars anti-theft devices are built in door locks.
Safety locks and breakers are at first checked.
At operation of the drive of the lock at any position of the switch the click has to be listened.
Check short circuit of contacts of switches of door locks (see the Chart for a prverka of the main switch of the electric drive of the lock of a door of the driver and the Chart for a prverka of the main switch of the electric drive of the lock of a door of the passenger). If contacts do not become isolated according to the enclosed scheme, then replace the switch.
If the switch is serviceable, then check existence of break in the wires connecting the control unit, solenoids and switches.
Check connection with the mass of the control unit and switches.
If tension is, then replace an electromagnet.
Otherwise check the relay or a wire between the control unit and the solenoid. As a rule this wire breaks when closing and opening a door.
System of remote unlocking on IK-beams
The system consists of the transmitter of the IK-beams getting on the receiver which unlocks a door. On a part of cars this system also starts anticreeping system of "fright", including headlights and a sound signal.
If when pressing the button the LED indicator on the transmitter does not burn, then it is necessary to replace the battery. In process of the category of the battery the distance of operation of system of unlocking decreases.
