1.2.6.1. Start by means of the additional rechargeable battery

If the additional rechargeable battery is installed on other car, then be convinced that cars do not adjoin. Switch off all unnecessary light devices and auxiliary the equipment.
If it is necessary, remove all ventilating traffic jams from the additional and discharged rechargeable batteries. Put fabric over open air vents on rechargeable batteries. (It helps to lower danger of explosion, injuries and burns).
If the car engine does not work with the additional rechargeable battery, start it and let's it work within several minutes. During start by means of the additional rechargeable battery the engine has to work approximately at speed of 2000 rpm at slightly pressed accelerator pedal.
Execute connection of cables as a, b, c, d:
a. Connect a clip of a positive (red) connecting cable to positive (+) the plug on the discharged rechargeable battery.
b. Connect a clip on other end of a positive (red) connecting cable to positive (+) the plug on the additional rechargeable battery.
c. Connect a clip of a negative (black) connecting cable to the negative plug on the additional rechargeable battery.
d. Connect a clip on other end of a negative (black) cable to a firm, motionless, unpainted, metal point of the car with the discharged rechargeable battery.
The points recommended for connection are shown in the following drawings.

Do not connect a cable to or near any part which moves at a provorachivaniye of a bent shaft of the engine. When performing connections in order to avoid a serious trauma do not bend over the rechargeable battery and do not allow that connecting cables or clips touched something, except the necessary plugs of rechargeable batteries and grounding.
Start the engine in the usual way. After start it has to work within several minutes at a speed about 2000 rpm at slightly pressed accelerator pedal.
Carefully disconnect cables precisely in the return sequence: negative cable, and then positive cable.
Carefully liquidate the fabrics covering rechargeable batteries – they may contain sulfuric acid.
If ventilating traffic jams were removed, then establish them everything on places.
If the reason of a discharge of the rechargeable battery is not established (for example, remained included in light devices), it is necessary to check it.
