Periodically check cables on all length, damage, cracking or a burn-out of isolation of cables, and also corrosion are not allowed. Unreliable connection of the battery can be a cause of failures at launch of the engine.
Check a condition of connections of poles with plugs, existence on them of corrosion, cracks and weakening of fastening of wires. Existence of the white shelled raid demonstrates corrosion of a cable and need of replacement.
Disconnect old cables from the battery, track laying of cables on their length and find places of their fastening to a starter and to weight, disconnect cables from the traction relay of a starter and weight.

If cables are replaced new, then getting new cables, take with yourself old. The cable of a positive pole of red color also has bigger cross section. The cable of a negative pole has black coloring.

Before accession of a cable clear carvings of fastening of cables of the battery on the traction relay of a starter and on a body, remove corrosion traces.
