Removal
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. Remove a half shaft. |
| 2. Clamp a half shaft in a vice through soft pro-rates and check existence of a radial side play and smoothness of movement of the hinge in all directions. Replace a worn-out cover, having performed the following procedures. |

Dismantling
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Remove a cover collar, having made an incision it. |
|
2. Get a cover from a hinge flute, having hooked the screw-driver for edge of a cover. Cut off strongly damaged cover. Remove a cover from the case of the hinge and remove the case. |
Prevention
On the right half shaft on the case of the hinge the intermediate shaft is strengthened.

| 3. Designate a relative positioning of a crosspiece of the hinge and a shaft of a half shaft. |
|
4. Remove a lock ring of a crosspiece of the hinge. |
|
5. Blows through a brass prstavka bring down a hinge crosspiece from a half shaft shaft. It is necessary to dress internal and external covers on a half shaft. Not to remove the external hinge. |
| 6. Remove both covers. |

Check
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Clear the removed details, completely remove old lubricant, check existence of damages on balls of bearings. If on a surface there are wear tracks, then the interfaced surfaces will also be damaged. Internal hinges are delivered in the spare part separately, external hinges – assembled with a half shaft. |
|
2. Check a condition of the bearing of an intermediate support. |

Assembly

1. Dress a crosspiece on vents so that selection on vents was turned to a half shaft. |
|
2. Put lubricant in the hinge case, dress the case on a crosspiece put the lubricant rest. |
|
3. Dress a cover and a collar on a half shaft, enter a crosspiece into the case and put the lubricant rest. |
| 4. Make sure that edges of covers came into flutes on a half shaft. |
| |
5. Adjust half shaft length (see subsection 8.3.1.), moving the internal hinge, establish the standard length of a half shaft. |
|
6. Straighten a cover, having inserted the screw-driver between a cover and an external holder of the hinge. |
|
7. Fix a cover by a collar by means of special flat-nose pliers. |
|
