Buttons of preliminary installation 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6
These buttons are used for preliminary installation and control of radio stations. For preliminary installation of radio station on a certain button – to be adjusted on the desirable station (see TUNE). To press and hold pressed the button until you hear a zummerny signal – it will mean that the station is installed on the button. Number of the button or a cell will appear on the display. For control for previously established station – to press the button of the desirable station. Number of the button or a cell and frequency of the station will appear on the display.
These systems can remember one DV/SV station and three VHFs of the station under each button. (The display will show "LW" or "MW", "U1", "U2" or "U3" when you press the BAND button). Memory of previously established stations will be cancelled if giving of food is interrupted (the rechargeable battery will be disconnected or the fuse will fuse).
Pushing out button
Press this button for pushing out of the cartridge.
|/| higher / low number of a path
Using this button, it is possible to pass to higher / low number of a path or to quickly scroll forward / back a path to which you listen.
Transition to higher / low number of a path – quickly to press and release the button >> | (up) or | << (down). Number of a path will appear on the display. If you hear a zummerny signal then you held the button too long, and the player quickly will scroll a path forward or back.
Bystry scrolling of paths forward / back – to press and hold the button >> | (forward) or | << (back) until you hear a zummerny signal. While you hold the button, the current time of reproduction is displayed on the display. Until you hold the button, the player quickly will scroll a path forward/back. When release the button, the player will resume reproduction.
AF (alternative frequencies)
This button is used for search of RDS stations (radio information system) in all strip of frequencies.
To press "AF" less than for 2 seconds for reception of the same program during control for the RDS station. "AF" will appear on the display. If conditions of reception worsen, then the network which transfers the same program, will be chosen according to the AF list (alternative frequencies) for RDS stations.
For change of the AF mode – to press the AF button at least for 2 seconds. When "REG ON" appears on the display, the radio receiver will choose the RDS station which has the same PI code (identification of the program). When "REG OFF" appears on the display, the radio receiver chooses the RDS station having the same three-digit digital PI code (identification of the program).
If the radio receiver cannot find the RDS station within 60 seconds, then the radio receiver muffles all programs and begins to look for the RDS station of the same PI code with use of the AF list. If the radio receiver cannot find any station for one pass owing to weak signals, then he begins to look for with use of more increased sensitivity for search of stations with a weak signal again. At this time on the display indication of "DX" will appear. The zummerny signal will sound, and on the display there will be an indication "PI SEEK", reporting about when this function begins to work.
If the signal becomes extremely weak, the radio receiver will suspend search of the station, and on the display within 2 seconds indication of "NOTHING" will appear. After that, if the radio receiver cannot find the RDS station within 20 seconds, it starts search over again.
For cancellation of the AF mode once again press the AF button.
AST (Automatic storing)
This button is used for automatic preliminary installation of frequencies of 6 radio stations for each strip of frequencies (DV/SV, UKV1, UKV2 and UKV3).
Press "AST" until you hear a zummerny signal. If the radio receiver cannot find any station, it will be adjusted on the frequency which accepted before use of the AST function.
BAND
To press "BAND" for switching between strips of frequencies of DV/SV and VHF. "LM", "MW", "U1", "U2" or "U3" will appear on the display. These systems allow to install eighteen VHFs stations from calculation on three on each button.
If the audio system is switched off, it is possible to turn on the radio receiver pressing of "BAND". Also it is necessary to press "BAND" for switching from work with the cartridge or a compact disk work with the radio receiver.
CD (Compact disk)
Press "CD" for switching from work with the radio receiver or the cartridge work with a compact disk, it is possible to turn on the CD player by pressing of "CD".
When the audio system is installed for work with a compact disk, the display will show number of a path of the current reproduction.
DISC
By pressing of this button it is possible to choose a disk to which you wish to listen.
Hollow NR
If the tape which is written down with use of system of noise reduction of Dalby is used, then press the button designated by a symbol of a double letter D. The symbol of a double letter D will be displayed on the display. Press the button for switching off of the Dalby NR system again.
The Dalby NR mode reduces noise of a tape approximately to 10 dB. For the best reproduction of a sound you reproduce tapes with the switched-on or switched off this button depending on the mode used for record of a tape.
The system of noise reduction of Dalby is made according to the license Dalby Laboratoriz Laysensing Korporeyshen. "DOLBY" and a symbol of a double letter D are trademarks of Dalby Laboratoriz Laysensing Korporeyshen.
FF (The accelerated rewind forward)
Press the FF button for performance of the accelerated rewind of a tape forward. For a tape stop during the accelerated rewind forward slightly press the REW button.
When the tape is rewound forward up to the end, the cassette player will begin reproduction of other party of a tape by means of function of an automatic reverse.
Indication of MTL (Metal)
Press the MTL button at an insert of a metal or chromic tape. On the display indication of "MTL" will appear.
PROG (Program)
Press both PROG buttons for the choice of other party of a cassette tape. Function of an automatic reversion. After the cassette player reaches the end of one party of a tape, it automatically changes the direction and begins to reproduce other party. It occurs, is not dependent on whether the cartridge is reproduced or is in an expedited manner rewound forward.
RTY (program type)
Press the PTY button. If the button is pressed during reception of a code "by PTY the RDS station, type of the current NEWS program (news), "SPORT" (sport), "TALK" (conversation), "POP" (pop music), "Classics" (classics) appears on the display. If other type of the program is required, to press PTY until the desirable type of the program appears.
If the TUNE ^ or TUNE v button is pressed during program display on the display, the radio receiver will look for the station which transfers the PTY code. If the radio receiver cannot find any station, then on the display indication of "NOTHING" will appear.
If the system remains untouched within 6 seconds during program display or if other operation is carried out, indication like program disappears and the radio receiver will transfer the program of the last displayed program type.
PWR (Food)
To press "PWR" for inclusion and switching off of the audio system.
RAND (any)
There are two functions of any reproduction. You can listen to all paths in any sequence on all compact disks in shop or listen in any sequence only to paths on a certain compact disk.
Any reproduction of paths on a disk – quickly to press and release the RAND button. "RAND" will appear on the display, and the player will reproduce all paths of that disk to which you listen, in any sequence. If you hear a zummerny signal then held the button too long, and the player will reproduce in any sequence all paths from all disks which are available in shop. For switching off of function of any reproduction press the RAND button again.
Any reproduction of all paths in shop – press "RAND" until you hear a zummerny signal. "D*RAND" will appear on the display, and the player will reproduce all paths from all disks in shop in any sequence. For switching off of function of any reproduction press the RAND button again.
REW (The accelerated rewind back)
Press the REW button for performance of the accelerated rewind of a tape back. For a tape stop during the accelerated rewind forward slightly press the FF button. Immediately reproduction of a tape will begin.
When the tape is rewound back up to the end, the cassette player will stop, and then reproduction of the same party will begin.
RDS display (radio information system)
The radio receiver automatically switches to the RDS mode for reception of the RDS station during the broadcasting VHF control. "RDS" and the name of the RDS station appear on the display.
RPT (Repetition): CD player
There are two functions of repeated reproduction. It is possible to reproduce repeatedly a path of a disk or the whole compact disk. Repetition of a path – quickly press and release the RPT button until you hear a zummerny signal. "D*RPT" will appear on the display. The player will repeatedly reproduce all paths of that disk to which you listen.
When reproduction of a disk ends, the player will automatically pass to an initial path of a disk and will execute repeated reproduction. This process will continue until you press the button for switching off of this function again.
SCAN
RADIO RECEIVER
You can scan all frequencies of a strip or only the frequency of previously established stations of this strip of frequencies.
For scanning of frequencies of previously established stations – quickly press and release the SCAN button. If you hear a zummerny signal, so held the button too long, and the radio receiver will scan all frequencies of a strip. The radio receiver will be adjusted on the following previously established station up a strip of frequencies and will reproduce it within several seconds, and then will pass to the following previously established station. For the choice of the station once again press the SCAN button.
CD PLAYER
There are two functions of scanning. It is possible to scan paths of a certain disk or the first paths of all disks in shop.
Scanning of paths of a disk – quickly press and release the SCAN button. "SCAN" will appear on the display, and the player will scan all paths of the listened disk. If you hear a zummerny signal, so held the button too long, and the player will scan the first paths of disks of shop. For the choice of a path once again press the SCAN button. If the player scans all paths of a disk, it will stop scanning.
Scanning of the first paths of disks of shop – press the SCAN button until you hear a zummerny signal. "D*SCAN" will appear on the display, and the player will reproduce the first path of the following disk within 10 seconds, and then will pass to scanning of the following disk. For the choice of a disk to press the SCAN button the second time. If the player scans all disks, it will stop scanning.
SEL (Choice) and VOL (Loudness)
VOLUME CONTROL FUNCTION
These buttons are used for volume control. For volume control repeatedly to press "SEL" until "VOL" does not appear on the display. Then to press the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the VOL button. The display will show range from "VOL 0" to "VOL 36".
FUNCTION OF ADJUSTMENT OF SOUND BALANCE
These buttons are used for adjustment of sound balance between the right and left and forward and back speaker systems.
For adjustment of the right / left balance repeatedly to press "SEL" until "BAL" does not appear on the display. Then to press the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the VOL button.
The display will show range from "BAL L7" to "BAL R7".
For adjustment of forward/back balance repeatedly to press "SEL" until "FAD" does not appear on the display. Then to press the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the VOL button.
The display will show range from "FAD F7" to "FAD R7".
FUNCTION OF MANUAL ADJUSTMENT OF THE TIMBRE
These buttons are also used for adjustment of a timbre manually.
For adjustment of a timbre of low tone repeatedly press the SEL button until "BAS" does not appear on the display. Then press the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the VOL button for adjustment to own taste.
The display will show range from "BAS –5" to BAS +5".
For adjustment of a timbre of high-pitch tone repeatedly press the SEL button until "TRE" does not appear on the display. Then press the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the VOL button for adjustment to own taste.
The display will show range from "TRE –5" to "TRE +5".
ST indication (Stereophonic reception)
The radio receiver automatically passes to stereophonic reception at control for a stereophonic broadcast. "ST" appears on the display. If the signal becomes weak, the radio receiver lowers value of a razneseniye of channels for prevention of creation of noise because of a weak signal. If the signal becomes extremely weak, the radio receiver switches from stereophonic reception to monophonic.
THAT (Road news)
This button is used for reception of THAT stations on all strip of frequencies. EON system (additional expanded network). If the RDS station (with data of EON) to which you listen, does not transfer the program of road information in THAT mode (road news), then the radio receiver switches to the program of road information automatically with use of the AF list for EON.
After the end of transfer of road information the radio receiver automatically comes back to the initial program. The Zummerny signal reports when this function begins and stops working.
To press "THAT" for switching of the radio receiver to the TR mode. "TR" will be displayed on the display.
In the TR mode the radio receiver begins search of the TR station. When the TR station is accepted, the name of program service will appear on the display. Also in the AF mode the radio receiver looks for the TR station with use of the AF list.
If the radio receiver cannot find any TR station, "NOTHING" appears on the display for 2 seconds and search of the TR station is started over again.
When the TR station is accepted if the signal of TR stops for 20 seconds, the radio receiver begins to look for other TR station automatically.
Again press "THAT" for switching of the radio receiver to THAT mode. "THAT TR" will appear on the display.
In THAT mode the radio receiver begins to look for the TR station. It will sound only when the TR station is accepted. When the TR station is accepted, the name of program service will appear on the display. Also in the AF mode the radio receiver looks for the TR station with use of the AF list.
If the radio receiver cannot find any TR station, "NOTHING" appears on the display for 2 seconds and search of the TR station is started over again.
When the TR station is accepted if the signal of TR stops for 20 seconds, the radio receiver begins to look for other TR station automatically.
Function of storing of loudness "THAT" is remembers loudness at reception of road news.
When "TA" is accepted next time, the system compares the loudness of the accepted TA station and the remembered loudness THAT and automatically chooses higher loudness. But the range of storing of loudness is limited: if the loudness of earlier adopted program is higher than the maximum loudness of range, the maximum loudness of range is remembered and if it is lower than the minimum loudness of range, the minimum loudness of range is remembered.
You can adjust loudness irrespective of the remembered loudness "THAT" at reception of the TA station (see SEL and VOL).
For return to the normal mode from THAT mode once again press "THAT".
TAPE
To press "TAPE" for switching from operation of the radio receiver operation of the cassette player. If the audio system is switched off, it is possible to turn on the cassette player pressing of "TAPE". In both cases the cartridge has to be already inserted into the player.
TUNE
Control
The Toyota car has the radio receiver with electronic control (ETR). To press and release the party "^" (up) or "v" (down) of the TUNE button for change of frequency of the station up or down a strip of frequencies. If you hear a zummerny signal, it means that held the button too long and the radio receiver will enter the search mode.
Search
The radio receiver finds in the search mode and reproduces the following station up or down a strip of frequencies. For search of the station – to press and take the side "^" or "v" of the TUNE button until you hear a zummerny signal. For finding of other station perform this procedure again. |
