| GENERAL INFORMATION |
The system of blocking of the engine prevents stealing of the car.
| If to insert a key into the ignition switch, then the chip with the transponder in a head of a key will transfer an electronic alarm code to the car. The engine will be started only if the electronic code in a chip corresponds to the registered identification code for this car. |
The system is automatically installed at extraction of a key from the ignition switch. Installation of the registered key in the ignition switch automatically will cancel system which provides start of the engine.
That the dealer of Toyota made a new key with the built-in chip of the transponder, it needs number of a key and the main key. But there is a restriction for quantity of additional keys which the dealer of Toyota can make for the owner of the car. If you make a key duplicate independently, then you will not be able to cancel this system of blocking and to start the engine.
