6.13. Electronic system of injection of fuel


The pulse multipoint system of injection of fuel includes three subsystems: system of an intake of air (air filter, airintaking branch pipes, air stream sensor, throttle, control system of idling and inlet collector), system of electronic control and fuel supply system (fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel injectors and fuel highway, relay of fuel system).

Check of system of electronic injection of fuel includes check of functioning of all its subsystems and elements of subsystems.


1. To check injectors, start the engine and apply a special stethoscope to each of them. If you hear clicks, so the injector functions normally.
2. If the injector does not click, connect a special lamp to contacts of a wire of each injector. If the lamp blinks, so on contacts of an injector the correct tension moves.
3. Kill the engine, disconnect wires from injectors and measure resistance of each injector by means of an ohmmeter. Compare the received results to technical requirements.
