Prevention
Special tools and details which at you can not be are necessary for carrying out a partition and check of a head of cylinders. Therefore if you the fan, then will be much more economical to buy a new head, than to spend time for a partition and repair of old.
Partition
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Remove a head of cylinders, camshafts and pushers of valves. |
|
2. Before removing valves prepare the separate numbered bags to put in them valves and details corresponding to them. |
|
3. Squeeze a spring of the first valve and remove clamps by means of a magnet. Remove a plate springs, a spring and a saddle of a spring. |
|
4. Get the valve from a head. If the valve does not pass through the directing plug, smooth out edges of the end of a rod of the valve an emery paper. Take a valve rod epiploon from the directing plug. |
5. Do similar procedures with other valves. |
6. After you sorted a head, it needs to be cleaned and checked. |
|
Cleaning
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Clean off all traces of old laying from surfaces of a head and wipe it with solvent. |
2. Clean the deposits formed in internal canals and openings of a head. If deposits of a rust blocked water channels of a head, address the expert. |
3. By means of a suitable tap and compressed air clean carvings in openings of bolts of a head. |
4. Brush a carving of adjusting pins of inlet and final collectors. |
5. Wash out a head in solvent and dry up it. |
6. Wash out valves and their elements in solvent. Dry up all details. |
|
Check
HEAD OF CYLINDERS
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Examine a head on existence of cracks, traces of leak of cooling liquid and other damages. At detection of cracks, the head needs to be processed on the machine if damages too strong, a head it is necessary to replace. |
|
2. By means of a ruler and the measuring probe check deformation of the joined head surfaces. If deformation exceeds admissible limits a head it is necessary to process in a specialized workshop. |
3. Examine saddles of valves if they are damaged, address the expert. |
|
4. Measure a gap between a rod of the valve and the directing plug by means of the measuring device. Instrument readings need to be divided into two and you receive gap size. If the gap exceeds admissible limits, the directing plug of the valve needs to be replaced. |
|
VALVES
Prevention
All works connected with maintenance of valves demand special knowledge and the special equipment and therefore they have to be provided to the expert.
Check of wear of valves
|
1. Valve emphasis
2. Flutes of clamps of a spring
3. Valve rod
4. Valve facet
5. Edge of the valve
6. Final valve
7. Inlet valve |
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Examine facets of valves on existence of wear, deformation, cracks, the burned sites and other damages. Check rods of valves for existence of the wiped sites and cracks. Check whether rods are bent. At detection of any damages valves need to be processed in a specialized workshop. |
|
2. Measure width of an edge of the valve. If the received size is less than admissible limits, the valve needs to be replaced. |
|
VALVE ELEMENTS
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
|
1. Examine springs of valves on existence of wear and damages. Measure length of springs. If length of any spring is less than limit specified in technical characteristics, replace it. |
|
2. Check that springs were straight lines. If necessary replace the deformed springs. |
|
Assembly
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. Grease the directing plugs and rods of valves with engine oil and insert valves into a head of cylinders. |
|
2. Oil epiploons of rods and establish on the places. Epiploons of rods of inlet and final valves differ from each other. Epiploons of final valves have ledges in the top part. |
3. Establish saddles of springs, springs and plates of springs. |
|
4. Squeeze springs and establish clamps, if necessary apply sealant on clamps. |
