3.4.7. Check of the moment of ignition

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

The procedure of installation of the moment of ignition is applicable almost to all cars considered in this manual. If the order of installation of ignition specified in the podkapotny plate of the car differs from described below, then be guided by the instruction of the plate. The ignition moment on all considered cars is not regulated therefore, at violation of installation of ignition it is necessary to check serviceability of units of system of ignition.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Connect a tachometer, being guided by the instruction of the manufacturer of the device.
	2. Find the diagnostic socket and close накоротко conclusions of E1 and TE1.
3. At the switched-off ignition connect a stroboscope, being guided by the instruction of the manufacturer of the device.
	4. Find tags of the moment of ignition (shooter) on a forward cover and on a crankshaft pulley.
5. Warm up the engine, be convinced that turns of idling of the engine of 700 rpm on the car from the manual transmission and 750 rpm on the car with automatic transmission. Direct stroboscope light to a scale. The tag on a pulley of the crankshaft has to be opposite to the corresponding division of a scale.
