7.2.14. Detonation sensor

GENERAL INFORMATION

The sensor of a detonation is intended for registration of a detonation in cylinders and reduction of a corner of an advancing of ignition. On 4-cylinder engines the sensor is screwed in the block of cylinders under a head, on 6-cylinder engines 2 sensors which will screw under the soaking-up collector are provided.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The chain between a conclusion of the sensor and its case should not be closed накоротко. Otherwise replace the sensor.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the battery from weight.
2. On the cold engine merge 3–4 l of liquid.
3. On 6-cylinder engines remove the soaking-up collector (see subsection 3.2.5.).
4. Disconnect the socket and remove the sensor. On 6-cylinder engines the sensor of a detonation is mounted under soaking up a collector.
5. Tighten the new sensor with m 36 N.' moment (sealant is applied on a carving of the new sensor with the manufacturer).
