10:11. Removal of air from a hydraulic actuator of brakes


Need of pumping of a hydraulic actuator on all wheels arises after a detachment of tubes on the main cylinder of a brake or at strong lowering of the level of liquid in a tank.

When dismantling a hydraulic actuator of one wheel it is possible to be limited to removal of air only from the understanding cylinder.

If the highway from the main cylinder to wheel understood, then it is possible to be limited to removal of air only from this highway.

1. On the stopped engine press several times a brake pedal that in the vacuum amplifier of brakes atmospheric pressure was restored.
2. Before pumping restore liquid level in a tank and during pumping support level, without allowing emptying of a tank. Fill in only fresh liquid.
3. Pumping of brakes should be carried out together. Prepare liquid, a vessel, a hose for pumping and a key for an union otvorachivaniye.
4. Begin pumping with a back right wheel. Unscrew the union for pumping and slightly tighten that it could be turned off without effort again.
5. Attach a hose to the union, lower other end of a hose in a vessel with brake fluid.
6. Ask the assistant to press slowly a pedal of a brake and to hold.
7. Unscrew the union and later 2 sec. after the stream of the liquid following with bubbles weakens, tighten the union. Ask the assistant to release a pedal.
8. Repeat the procedure until in the following liquid vials of air do not cease to be observed. Tighten the union. Perform these operations in the sequence: left back wheel, the right forward, left forward. You watch liquid level in a tank.
9. Upon termination of pumping restore liquid level in a tank.
10. After pumping of brakes the pedal has to be "rigid". If necessary repeat the procedure of pumping.
