11:10. Lock of a cowl and cable of the drive of the lock

GENERAL INFORMATION

Prevention

Conducting and sockets of system of pneumosafety (SRS system) have yellow coloring, they are forbidden to be displaced, or to connect to them devices for check.

LOCK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Outline contours of the lock of a cowl remove a plastic casing which fastens on percussion caps. Turn off bolts of fastening of the lock (arrow) and remove the lock.
	2. Hook and remove the holder of a cable of the drive of the lock and unhook a cable.
3. Installation is carried out upside-down. Adjust position of the lock so that when closing a cowl buffers were slightly pressed, and the cowl was reliably locked.

CABLE

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Hook and remove the holder of a cable of the drive of the lock and disconnect a cable from the lock.
2. Attach a piece of a wire of sufficient length to a cable and release all brackets of fastening of a cover of a cable on a front partition.
3. Remove plastic protection of a wheel niche (see subsection 11.12.).
4. In salon remove facing of powder from the driver and facing of a sidewall.
	5. Unscrew 2 screws of fastening of the lever of the drive of a cable of the lock and remove the lever.
6. Extend a cable with a sealant and a wire in salon. Disconnect old and attach a new cable, having tracked existence of a sealant on it.
7. Stretch a new cable in a cover for a wire.
8. Install a cable cover in the cable lever, having tracked that the cover tip densely came into dredging of an arm of the handle of the lever.
9. Further installation is carried out upside-down. Insert a cable sealant into an opening of a partition of a motor compartment.
