3.1.6. Final collector

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect a wire of the minus plug of the accumulator.
2. Disconnect wires from the oxygen sensor. If you establish a new collector, remove the sensor.

3. Unscrew bolts (shooters) and remove the top heat-insulating collector guard.
4. Oil collector bolts impregnating.
5. Disconnect an exhaust pipe from a collector.

6. Unscrew the bolt (shooter) of an arm of a collector located near a forward support of the engine. Remove an arm of a collector and the lower heat-insulating guard.

7. Unscrew bolts (shooters), remove a collector and laying.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean the joined surfaces of a collector and a head of cylinders. If you found out that laying of a collector proceeded, check whether the collector is deformed, if necessary address the expert.
2. Establish new laying.
3. Establish a collector and twist bolts.
4. Tighten bolts till the required inhaling moment.
5. Establish the remained details, start the engine and check final system for existence of leaks.
